WINGAS Group Guideline for occupational health, safety at work and environmental protection (HSE)
The companies of the WINGAS Group are active in natural gas trading, natural gas transport and natural gas storage. WINGAS is a European gas company that supplies natural gas to customers in Germany, Belgium, France, Great Britain, Austria, Denmark and the Czech Republic. In addition to these activities, WINGAS also markets fiber optic cable capacities. WINGAS TRANSPORT GmbH & Co. KG operates gas pipelines across the whole of Germany.
Sustainable economic activities are one of the prerequisites for our long-term success and our contribution to a better future. We also continuously plan and prepare ourselves for the constant challenges necessitated by occupational health, safety at work and environmental protection (HSE).
Within the scope of this recognition of responsibility, we commit ourselves with the incorporation of our "WINS" HSE management system to the following basic principles:
We provide all of our employees a safe and health-friendly workstation. We create an environment that also motivates acceptance of personal responsibility in the HSE area.
We expect that all our employees and contractors critically observe their surroundings, address unsafe activities and conditions, and contribute to their improvement. We are all responsible for complying with the provisions of this guideline in our work environment.
We implement the knowledge we gain from audits and risk assessments for the sustainable and continuous improvement of our HSE performance. And we target efficient HSE solutions here.
We restrict the effects of our activities to our immediate surroundings so that our employees, contactors, neighbors and the environment suffer no damage.
In the performance of our activities we comply with local laws and regulations at home and abroad; we comply with our own standards; and we observe working practices recognized across Europe.
We focus in our activities on the following key consideration:

Consistent respect for health, safety, and environmental protection is a prerequisite for all activities of WINGAS.
