Open World invites the public to the International Youth Arts Festival again
Kassel. In the middle of October it’s that time again: 40 children and young people from Russia will be coming to Kassel to develop an evening program in just three days for a “School Students Variety Show” together with school students from the Heinrich-Schütz-Schule. Under the title, “All aboard the time machine – join us on an exciting journey through time”, in various workshops the youngsters will put together a diverse program of dance, song, and acrobatics.
The highlight of the workshops will be the public performance on 13 October 2016 at 7:30 p.m. in the school hall of the Heinrich-Schütz-Schule. Up to 90 children will be on stage for the students’ variety show. Tickets can be purchased for 5 euros via the HNA online ticket service and all booking offices. The proceeds will go to the Hein-rich-Schütz-Schule.
Open World is organized by the charitable association “Energy for Life – Social Foundation”, which is based in Vienna. The organization aims to make an effective contribution to the integration of children and young people in need by means of international cultural and sports projects. It has been organizing international youth arts festivals since 2006. WINGAS has supported the project in Kassel since the begin-ning – and is now in its 10th year.
