WINGAS moves into new company headquarters
Kassel. The natural gas supplier WINGAS has moved into its new company headquarters in Kassel’s city center. “The new building will be the foundation for the continued successful development of our company,” the WINGAS Chairman Gerhard König said confidently following the completion of the move, which had been carefully planned over many months. “Over 400 WINGAS employees, now all united under one roof, can dedicate their efforts to ensuring a secure and reliable supply of natural gas for Germany and its European neighbors.” The staff had previously worked at various different locations in Kassel. The modern office building has 4 floors and around 12,000 square meters of space.
“We are pleased that we have found such an attractive location here at Königstor,” König explained. “This location in the city center of Kassel is an expression of our deep ties with the city, which has been home to WINGAS for more than 20 years. It is here that our company was founded, it is here that our company achieved strong growth in recent years.” With a sales volume of around 50 billion cubic meters (2014), WINGAS is now one of the major European natural gas companies. “However, the decision to move here is not just a sign of our commitment to the city of Kassel; first and foremost it is a commitment to our staff, with whom we aim to continue the successful development of WINGAS together in future.”
