German gas industry with stand at IHS, the leading international exhibition in Frankfurt
Kassel. The world’s biggest trade fair for building, energy and air-conditioning technology as well as renewable energies, the international HIS, will be demonstrating innovative applications for the home again from 10 to 14 March in Frankfurt. One of the key themes of the fair this year is “energy efficiency plus”. Technology trends on the heating market, for example, will be presented as part of this theme.
In order to inform visitors of the advantages of modern natural gas applications, the German gas industry – the industry initiative Zukunft ERDGAS, the working group ASUE and the German Association of Energy and Water Industries (BDEW) – has a shared stand at the IHS in Hall 9.0 Stand E06.
The heating sector, especially the heating of space and drinking water, accounts for about 33 percent of the entire nationwide energy consumption and is therefore significantly responsible for the CO2 emissions. Hence, efficient heating systems are one of the important factors for ensuring climate protection in the building stock. Modern natural gas technology in particular plays a central role because it causes substantially fewer CO2 emissions and has low costs compared to other modernization measures.
