WINGAS and KKU Concept conclude cooperation deal on natural gas-based cooling solutions
Kassel. Not only heating, but also cooling: The natural gas supplier WINGAS GmbH and KKU Concept GmbH, a company specializing in resource-saving cooling and heating solutions, intend to undertake joint communication and sales measures with immediate effect in order to enable better placement of innovative cooling technologies based on natural gas on the market. A cooperation agreement to that effect has now been signed in Kassel. The cooperation will initially run up to and including 2019.
“Natural gas is a versatile source of energy. Thanks to the collaboration with KKU Concept, we can now offer our small industrial and commercial customers better and far more substantial information on the possibilities of cooling with natural gas and so tap additional potential for gas,” states Detlef Mirsch, head of technical services at WINGAS. “In KKU Concept, we’ve acquired a competent partner that has intimate knowledge of this market segment and whose expertise we can leverage.”
“CO2 emissions can be reduced significantly thanks to efficient natural gas cooling technology – and often at a very attractive cost-effectiveness compared to conventional electricity-based solutions,” adds KKU Concept’s managing director Sven Schwarze. “Working with one of Germany’s largest natural gas companies opens up new marketing opportunities for us. It means we can offer our customers a one-stop shop for systems that fit their needs perfectly and natural gas procurement.” The company from Marl won the 2014 ASUE Award from the German gas industry for innovation and climate protection.
