100 lots to be auctioned overall each with 14 million kWh
Kassel. WINGAS is offering capacities at the Haidach storage facility on the exchange platform store-x: the capacities for the storage year 2012/13 will be allocated in a non-discriminatory keyed procedure and consist of 100 lots, each with a working gas volume of 14 million kWh. The withdrawal rate for the lots is 8,245 kWh/h, the injection rate 4,545 kWh/h. Offers can be submitted from 13 February 2012, 9.00 a.m., until 14 February 2012, 12 noon (CET). The offers are binding until 3.00 p.m. (CET) the same day. In addition, the corresponding transport rights from WINGAS between the Haidach storage facility and the NCG market area can be acquired in a separate procedure.

European energy provider WINGAS GmbH & Co. KG is one of the largest suppliers of natural gas in Germany. In Rehden in North Germany, WINGAS has the largest natural gas storage facility in Western Europe – with a working gas volume of over four billion cubic meters, and the company also participates in Central Europe's second largest storage facility in Haidach, Austria. WINGAS is currently building the Jemgum natural gas storage facility on the German-Dutch border and is planning to build another storage facility in Saltfleetby in the UK to help secure the supply of natural gas in Europe.
