Enterprise Architect (m/f/d)

IN SHORT

To support our IT Strategy, Enterprise Architecture & Data Governance team within the newly established CIO Office, we are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect (m/f/d) for the further development of our application, data, technology and business architecture.

This new role offers significant autonomy and creative freedomand to play an active role in the transformation of the SEFE Group. You will act in an international business environment, interact with our group-wide IT leadership as well as our CIO and coordinate the implementation of the IT transformation together with domain architects in our trading and sales business, as well as together with our enterprise IT.

In order to achieve our ambitious corporate goals, we are working on a comprehensive business transformation, which is made possible by a corresponding IT transformation. Multi-year programs with an extensive IT budget have been initiated and must be architecturally supported. Within two years, we will lay the foundations for digitizing our business to a greater extent, continuously developing it further and enabling the green energy transformation with innovative technologies.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

  • Developing and communicating a comprehensive architecture in close alignment with the company's overall business and IT strategy, including intensive communication with senior management stakeholders
  • Defining, promoting and managing overarching policies, standards and strategic guidelines for technological development
  • Performing gap analyses between the current and target architecture and outlining transformation initiatives
  • Collaborate with other architects (e.g. application architects, data architects and security architects) to ensure that the overall enterprise architecture is coherent and comprehensive
  • Define and implement a consistent and reliable process to manage, review and improve the enterprise architecture
  • Identify and evaluate new technologies (e.g. AI) that could add value to the organization and develop and present compelling recommendations for implementation

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • University degree in a relevant field, e.g. computer science or information technology or equivalent professional experience
  • Several years of professional experience in a comparable function with proven experience in the development and implementation of enterprise architectures
  • Knowledge and experience in using EAM tools (in particular LeanIX) and experience with system integration
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze and design complex systems and processes
  • Excellent English language skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and persuade stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Relevant certifications, especially TOGAF
